Birthday Snuggles ....

Angelique and Dominic spent Big Sisters birthday morning snuggling and bonding.  Big sister has been a great help around the house with Dominic.  We are so blessed to have such amazing children!!

A Big Sister at last!

Angelique is finally a big sister. Her little brother was born January 25, 2013. She still has not been able to hold him though since he is in the NICU. We are hoping to have him home soon!!

She has been busy making him all kinds of cards do let him know she loves him and wants him home soon!

First Time Ice Skating!

Today was Angelique's first attempt at ice skating! She did pretty good! PRACTICE makes perfect!

Getting Ready for Ballet!

The newest craze is ballet! Yes we are still doing gymnastics as well but Ballet classes are being offered at Angelique's school and she has requested that we sign her up to learn to dance .... which if she has received her Daddy's mad dancing skills she is going to need all the help she can get! LOL .... Sorry Daddy but it i true, dancing is just not your thing!

So far we have learned to dance around the house in ballet shoes and skirt to the Barbie movie The Diamond Castle, which is one of her favorite movies lately. Not only does she dance to the songs but she sings them as well. Always making me smile!

Learning to Roller Skate

Angelique got a pair of roller skates for Christmas this past year and after practicing all over the inside of the house we finally have ventured out to the real world. She does pretty good getting around, she still walks more than rolling but she is getting it down and we figure she will be a speed skating hockey player any day now!

Dorene's Surprise Birthday!

Happy Birthday Dorene! Everyone got together to celebrate Dorene's 34th birthday! It was a great time! Angelique had a great time hanging out with the Qwest crowd for the night, showing off and being a cute little monkey for everyone! Thank Dmitri for including us in the celebration!

Margaret was not ready for this picture ... either that or Dmitri was telling her something that was just to confusing for words! I would go with the later since Dmitri is kind of a spaz! That is why we love him so much ... always has us laughing ..... This picture tells it all about Dmitri that smirk on his face just tells you that this comedian has something up his sleeve!

The Cake and all it's excitement! Who are those 2 weirdo's on the cake you might ask? It's Dave and Dmitri ... what exactly they were up to I can not tell you! With those 2 anything is possible!

Angelique was really having a good time, but what's this? Serge falling asleep at the table? No maybe not I think that he and Angelique were deep in coversation with each other

Angelique Turns 3!

Can you all beleive it another year has passed already and Angelique just celebrated her 3rd birthday! She insisted that she have a pink cake with Minnie Mouse! So being the crafty Mommy that I am I sat down and tried my hardest to give her what she was asking for. I think it came out pretty good!

She did a pretty good job of getting all 3 of her candles blown out! We had been practicing so that helped! But I am afraid she has inherited her father's poor ablitly to blow the candles out! It took 2 tries and a little spit to get those candles to stop burning!

There were tons of great presents from everyone! She got the biggest kick out of her 2 fairy wands that she got. She goes around the house changing us all from pink to blue and then back again (Thanks to Sleeping Beauty).

Towards the end of the night Angelique was tired of waiting for Mommy to get the kitchen set put together so she put on her Tinker Bell skirt and shoes and grabbed the screwdriver and began working away at the kitchen! We finally got it done and she now likes to make us all coffee and pancakes all day long.

For the big present Mommy and Daddy got a new "big girl" bed for the little Monkey. The bed is a little much but she is really enjoying it so far. She slept in the top bunk the first few night but now feels safer I think on the bottom bunk! Plus if she is on the bottom she can talk me into falling asleep with her some times.

School Winter Performance

Angelique's school put on a Winterfestival Show. It was amazing to see these little one's try and sing and coordinate with each other! For the most part it went over quit well! This first pictures was of the teachers trying to get the kiddos lined up and ready to enter the auditorium to start the show ....

You can see how happy the girls are together, it helped that they knew that there was a few camera's snapping pictures of them being cute together.

Helping out with the chores

Angelique used to be afraid of the vacuum, now she wants to do it all the time! I had to get pictures to prove to her when she is a teen that she REALLY TRULY DID LIKE TO CLEAN! I am sure that we are going to have issues onces she really is supposed to clean! But for now she loves to take over and clean the house for us! Mostly she likes to run you over with the vacuum.
